Not content with just working in this industry, we’ve always set out to lead it. So here we are, more than 30 years later, with somewhat of a reputation for being a pioneer in piling!

We’re innovation obsessed. While others may think the design of the helical pile and its applications are limited, we continue to prove otherwise. We’ve taken everything we’ve learned, and continue to learn, about helical piles (which is a lot) and we use that knowledge to help the deep-foundation industry evolve.

Helical Piles: The Deep Dive

Helical piers are designed to resist compressive loads, usually downward. Helical anchors resist tensile loads, usually upward or inclined. Many helical units function as both piers and anchors.

Our ongoing investment in R&D has pushed the boundaries of the helical pile. We continue to introduce helical piles to new industries and find new applications in which they provide advantages over traditional methods.

As an end-bearing deep foundation, helical piles transfer structural loads to deeper, stronger, and more stable material that can’t be reached with conventional shallow foundations. Helical piles should be considered for any application that would traditionally call for a driven pile, drilled pier or mini pile.
