The plans for rebuilding the boardwalk included restrooms, changing rooms, lifeguard stations, and concessions at seven locations along the boardwalk. Initially, there were 257 augercast piles specified for this project. **CHALLENGE:** The GC was facing time constraints and the top priority was to get the piles installed quickly and with minimal site mess. **SOLUTION:** IDEAL presented STELCOR as a cost-effective alternate to augercast piles. The [STELCOR](https://www.idealfoundationsystems.com/stelcor/) piles exceeded the required capacity at depths ranging from 15′ to 20′. That is around half of the 30’ depth that was required for the augercast piles which were initially specified for the project.
